Our Beliefs

What makes cba different?

An intentional Christian school stands apart to make the difference between an educational Christianity and a Christian education. We strive to teach strong academics with a Biblical worldview to prepare our students to face the world with Scriptural answers to all of the problems that life brings along. We believe that mentality is summed up in the initial of our name, Central Baptist Academy:

C - Character Development

We believe our responsibility to our students and their families is not just to teach them academically, but to prepare them to be effective, productive contributors of society. We do that by teaching respect, manners, and finding Biblical answers to problems rather than just offering opinions and ideas. Development is a key necessity. From infancy until death a person should never cease developing. Luke 2:52 "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man."

B - Biblical Values

We believe our responsibility is to teach strong academics through a Biblical worldview. The Bible has much to say about all aspects of life, including academics. The Bible used to be a required textbook in all grade schools. If we're going to teach our children anything, they need a solid foundation in the Word of God. In John 6, many people began to abandon Jesus because of His teachings. In verse 67, Jesus asked His disciples, "Wilt thou also go away?" Asking if they were going to leave Him, too. Peter responded in verse 68, "Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of life." We believe the answer to all of the challenges we face can be found in the Word of God.

A - Academic Excellence

We believe that Academics are necessary to prepare these children to be the leaders of the next generation. We strive to teach our students effectively and help them focus themselves on their grades. We want students to achieve strong academic accomplishments while maintaining their work and pleasing the Lord with their efforts. Colossians 3:23, "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."

Central Baptist Academy, as a ministry of Central Baptist Church, supports and promotes wholly the doctrines of Central Baptist Church, which can be viewed here.
